Egyptian customs tax bureau chief Ahmed Seoudy announced that the Egyptian government is about to publish the measures to protect the local textile industry. For this purpose, the customs tax bureau held a meeting this week in, and considering the revision of textile tariffs and tax rate,

Egypt industry alliance and industry ministry has asked the Treasury take measures to keep the domestic industry.

Mr. Seoudy list of some measures, including, the revision import fabric quantity, at present temporarily from from the customs, the purpose is to let the import quantity and unit of the actual needs to remain consistent.
